ZIRU
This is not just the name of my business. Ziru, which in Sardinian simply means “tour”, is a real way of being, a school of thought! Ziru is a voyage of discovery, made of places, people, stories and knowledge.The logo itself is inspired by the idea of exploration: an orange peel world, with the pattern of an old geographic map and the grid that runs through the then-known land. The colors make you think of Sardinia: the blue of the sea, the green of the Mediterranean scrub and the yellow of the sun and the summer season.

I wanted our Island to be listed in this page, because it represents an independent entity and has its own soul. This ancient land connects people who were born and raised here, it protects them and draws them to itself every time they go away. Our mission starts here: we want you to get to know at least part of its deep soul, so that you can create a connection with this land and its people!
EMILIO
My name is Emilio, I’m 36 and I am the owner and creator of Ziru. After several years of study and experiences in the tourism industry, I decided to bet on myself and start a new journey with Ziru. My passion for geography, history and travels made me become a Tour Guide by ten years now. I like exploring and telling about my land through tourist itineraries and new activities projects, driven by the love for my job and my Island. In my tours, I always try to value the places I visit and be mindful of environmental sustainability, both in rural or
urban contexts.
SARA
My name is Sara, I’m 31 and I’m a tour guide. My partnership with Ziru started from a common passion: the love for our land and the desire to describe it at 360 degrees. I’ve always loved to travel and know different realities, but just recently I realized that this could be a starting point to show my land to the world, telling its secrets to whoever wants to know them. My mission is to make a cultural exchange possible and make it enjoyable by communicating the world of Sardinian values and culture through the beauty of our territory.
In particular, the beauty of the little island I live in, Sant’Antioco.
MARCO
My name is Marco, I’m 34 and I’m a tour operator based in Orosei. I’m a lively and optimistic person, passionate about travel and sports and I love to explore and understand realities different from mine. I love the sea, the spring and the summer because they make me feel alive. I’ve decided to work with Ziru driven by our shared projects and common vision of how we want tourism in Sardinia to be. I take care of the management of our Orosei location, which includes kayak rental and guided excursions on the beautiful Oasis of Biderosa.
